Description
Show: Danger Rangers
Creators: W. Douglas Smith & Michael D. Moore
Date: September 3, 2005
Animation: (A) The show does have pretty good animation. It's bright and colorful, but in a way where kids can sit through it and not burn out their eyes.
Characters: (A) The characters aren't that deep, but they're still fairly interesting. We have Sully (a blue sea lion that serves as leader), Kitty (a cat that served as second in command), Burble (a laid back polar bear), Squeaky (a resourceful mouse), Burt (an inventor turtle), Gabriela (a hummingbird who acts as supervisor), and Fallbot (a clumsy well meaning robot). They each have their own personality quirks and special skills which they use on their missions, making them all unique.
Writing: (A) The writing for the show is pretty good. Each episode manages to teach kids about danger and safety and all in a fun way. You essentially get the educational aspects of shows like Arthur mixed with the action packed side of shows like The Avengers.
Music: (A+) The music is composed by Randy Rogel, the same person who was responsible for most of the music on Animaniacs. As such, all the music on this show is very fun, from the theme song to the background music to the songs.
Enjoyment: (A) I wish this show was remembered more since it's quite unique. It has well written characters and stories to go with the stellar animation and music. I recommend this show.
